Introduction of Representative / Background of Brand Establishment
Representative Director and President Iso Ohara
Graduated from Kyoto University's Faculty of Economics in 2007 and obtained an MBA from Kyoto University's Graduate School of Management in 2009. After working in corporate sales at Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd., she served as Vice President of the Fixed Income Department at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities.
In January 2017, she launched the moissanite jewelry brand Brillar while still employed, and established Brillar Co., Ltd. in December of the same year. In 2020, she launched the high pearl jewelry brand OHARA PEARL, and established OHARA PEARL Co., Ltd. in April 2021.
In her private life, she is a mother of three children.
Background of Brand Establishment
I was born in China and have 9 years of experience working for American companies. During that time, I realized that people overseas have a high interest in Japanese pearls.
Leveraging the know-how and connections in jewelry manufacturing and sales that I have cultivated through the management of Brillar, I established OHARA PEARL with the desire to share the charm of Japan's proud pearls with the world.
